just ok。It wasn't as good as her other 11 books。 I expected more character development。 It felt short and a little rushed。 just ok。It wasn't as good as her other 11 books。 I expected more character development。 It felt short and a little rushed。 。。。more

Say It Isn’t So by Willow Rose is the 12th book of the Eva Rae Thomas series。 Two children go missing on family cruise and one ends up dead。 Eva Rae is brought in to investigate。 The parents accuse each other, and there are a lot of angry passengers that aren’t allowed to leave the ship。 Willow Rose does not disappoint with this action packed, nail biter。 It will keep you on the edge of your seat。 With many, many suspects it’s impossible to guess who the killer is right up to the shocking end。 I Say It Isn’t So by Willow Rose is the 12th book of the Eva Rae Thomas series。 Two children go missing on family cruise and one ends up dead。 Eva Rae is brought in to investigate。 The parents accuse each other, and there are a lot of angry passengers that aren’t allowed to leave the ship。 Willow Rose does not disappoint with this action packed, nail biter。 It will keep you on the edge of your seat。 With many, many suspects it’s impossible to guess who the killer is right up to the shocking end。 I whole heartedly recommend this book and all of Willow Rose’s books。 Thank you to NetGalley, Buoy Media and the author for the ARC! 。。。more

Kassie Renae,
I always enjoy this series because I know the ending will be surprising。 This was terribly sad and disturbing。 I give it three stars because just like the previous one in this series it brings hot topics into the story and I don’t necessarily enjoy that, especially when it’s apparent which way the author leans。 Overall the story held my attention and I was curious as to why the crime took place and by who, but being in conspiracy theories was too much for me。
Sammye,
In book # 12 of the Eva Rae Thomas series she investigates a mystery on a cruise ship。 A man’s wife and two children have gone missing。 This is full of non-stop action。 There are so many twists and turns。 The biggest twist being near the end of the book! I Did Not see that coming! This is a fast paced, entertaining, psychological thriller that held my attention from start to finish。 This is a must read! *this was a complimentary copy and this is my honest review*

Even though Willow Rose's other series are on my reading list, The Eva Rae Thomas Mysteries are the only ones I have read so far。 Having said that, Say It Isn't So is in my opinion the best of her books I've read to date。 The story was well written and kept me captivated。 It was a very good mystery that moved at a good pace。 It absolutely floored me!I received an ARC of this book。 The review is given voluntarily。 Even though Willow Rose's other series are on my reading list, The Eva Rae Thomas Mysteries are the only ones I have read so far。 Having said that, Say It Isn't So is in my opinion the best of her books I've read to date。 The story was well written and kept me captivated。 It was a very good mystery that moved at a good pace。 It absolutely floored me!I received an ARC of this book。 The review is given voluntarily。 。。。more

Thank you NetGalley, Buoy Media and Willow Rose for letting me read “Say it isn’t so” in exchange for an honest review。 This is my second Eva Rae Thomas mystery! Will the girls be all right? Who is involved? Can Eva Rae save the day once again? The thing is, this is a nice little mystery。 Nice。 Nice is just that… not great, not bad。 It swims somewhere in the middle of a big fat ocean, just like in our story… Nothing more, nothing less。 This is not even a bad thing。 (I guess) More a matter of taste。 While I am not a big guesser, not usually even trying to guess, this was pretty obvious and by the book。 Very straight forward。 Again, not a bad thing, if that’s what you like。 To me, it was too easy。 Another issue was that it was unbelievable。 If you know me, you know I don’t always care for that, as long as the story holds。 It didn’t in this case。 Some of the issues in the cruise were just too unbelievable ( cards, cards, cards…)。 Maybe a bit more research would have helped…?! Sorry! The story had its up and downs。 It was interesting and I finished quick。 Definitely a plus。 But that’s pretty much where it ended for me。I guess my biggest issues are : the pace/timing of the book , the lack of suspense and the flat characters。 The nine eleven thing?!?!This sounds worse than it probably is。 The storyline was fun and entertaining, just not very deep。 While not being disappointed by this, I think Eva Rae and I will part ways from now on。 I really wanted to like this one。 。。。more

Catastrophes at sea happen more often than we know。 The author has highlighted the possibility of a murderer on board and has written a great murder mystery set at sea and incorporated unforeseen twists。 In a nutshell: While on a family vacation onboard a luxury cruise ship, two young passengers go missing。 I’m always cautious about books that focus on harm done to children, so I did read with trepidation。 I must have been thoroughly engaged in the story as I kept reading despite a big shock tha Catastrophes at sea happen more often than we know。 The author has highlighted the possibility of a murderer on board and has written a great murder mystery set at sea and incorporated unforeseen twists。 In a nutshell: While on a family vacation onboard a luxury cruise ship, two young passengers go missing。 I’m always cautious about books that focus on harm done to children, so I did read with trepidation。 I must have been thoroughly engaged in the story as I kept reading despite a big shock that I hadn’t anticipated。 The characters are unreliable and unlikeable, making it easy for readers to add them to their suspect list and the varying points of view offer readers more insight into their armchair investigative work。 The shifting points of view occur within chapters and without warning, so this book will keep readers on their toes! An avid cruiser, I found parts of this mystery lacked the research to make it believable。 Two of my main concerns are with the investigative team and the cruise card use。 I couldn’t believe that the investigative team failed to check the RFID access to the cabins! I also couldn’t believe that the female cabin steward was being referred to as a cleaning lady。 Furthermore, her ability to exist on the ship without her card and her opportunity to invite family onboard three times during a contract are unbelievable。 There were a few other instances of misinformation which could have been cleared up with surface-level research。 Regardless, I am thankful for the opportunity to read a book centered around my favourite type of holiday - a cruise。 I was gifted this book by Buoy Media and NetGalley and was under no obligation to provide a review。 。。。more

I usually love all the Willow Rose books in this series but I have to say this one just didn’t do it for me。 It had suspense and great character development and a good storyline but I was a bit bored reading it。 I’m use to the high energy, suspense filled books she writes and I don’t think this was。 Still looking forward to the next in the series。

I get so excited when a new Willow Rose book makes an appearance! I will put down the other three books I'm already reading because I simply can't wait。 Eva Rae Thomas has a little different Au contraire: she hardly even has time to sleep as she tries to find two missing little girls who were passengers。 Both their mother and their father are viable suspects, and the arguments between them are hot and heavy。。。 almost worth reading just for them。 LOLCan't recommend Willow Rose often enough! This was such a good book, I was unable to put it down。 I was never able to guess the plot, as just as you think you might have it, a spanner is thrown in。I enjoyed the plot of being on a cruise ship (having my first cruise holiday in 2023), it was really interesting to hear from behind the scenes and also when things don't go to plan for the holiday makers when they have only alcohol for entertainment。I voluntarily reviewed a advance copy of this book。 This was such a good book, I was unable to put it down。 I was never able to guess the plot, as just as you think you might have it, a spanner is thrown in。I enjoyed the plot of being on a cruise ship (having my first cruise holiday in 2023), it was really interesting to hear from behind the scenes and also when things don't go to plan for the holiday makers when they have only alcohol for entertainment。I voluntarily reviewed a advance copy of this book。 。。。more

This is the twelfth book in Willow Rose's brilliant "Eva Rae Thomas" series, each one as good as the last。It was one of the biggest cruise ships in the world, nineteen storeys, high and cruising the Bahamas, two small girls had disappeared along with their mother。 The ship had berthed at a private island and FBI profiler Eva Rae Thomas had been brought in to find them alive, but one child was dead, this was no longer a search for children that may have wandered off, it was a race against time to This is the twelfth book in Willow Rose's brilliant "Eva Rae Thomas" series, each one as good as the last。It was one of the biggest cruise ships in the world, nineteen storeys, high and cruising the Bahamas, two small girls had disappeared along with their mother。 The ship had berthed at a private island and FBI profiler Eva Rae Thomas had been brought in to find them alive, but one child was dead, this was no longer a search for children that may have wandered off, it was a race against time to find the second child alive, there was a murderer on board。This book is set over two timelines, the early life of famous NFL footballer and his wife to be Tina, and the present day when Tina and her two children ten year old Becky and three year old Nicky had disappeared。The FBI had issued a statement that no one was to leave the ship, it had to be searched, it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack。When the names of the passengers were put through the FBI database several passengers were red flagged but with the father blaming his psychotic wife who had been drinking all day and who he had been seen arguing with both of them had also to be on the suspect list。As with all Willow Rose books, the suspects are many and each with their own stories, I suspected each one in turn and no, I didn't guess the ending。The tension on the ship was palpable, over six thousand people had paid a lot of money to visit the private paradise island and they were being kept prisoner on this floating skyscraper。This story is action packed and suspense filled and I can really recommend it。I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary。 。。。more

Say It Isn't So is a very good read, once again, like most of Willow Rose's books, I read it in one sitting。 I did lose a little patience with the brother and sister team, but I guess that's what keeps you on edge, wondering what they are going to do next, and hoping that one of them gets some smarts before it's too late!
